You should make a copy for each of your characters, otherwise you may miss some settings.
edit:
1. You can change the font to whatever you like. Plenty are included, or you can add your own through MyMedia in SharedMedia. Chat fonts are controlled through Prat.
4. Doh! I did have a screenshot in a party before I redid it.... Party frames run down the left side, with party pets and party targets in between the party members. Doesn't take up too much room.
