Hi, just reading this thread it looks like I need to clarify a few things.

The subscription is per addon, the core module is not subject to the subscription and is always free.

Some of the addons never require a subscription, one of those is Bang! AntiSpam.As for function - if you think it's not working like it says it does, please post a bug report. However that mod has been tested and works exactly as it should in my experience and others.

For the others, it's $2 for a subscription that never runs out, and is valid for all future versions, after a 2 week trial. Compare that to Carbonite, - No trial, pay up-front, $5, re-subscribe every month (or 15 for a year).

After reading your comments I agree with one point. It should be more obvious that you are downloading a trial. I'll update my pages accordingly now.
