Moreover, when an add-on is marked as "outdated" (which I believe was Saiket's request), it could take a mite longer to get someone interested, as you're generally limited to those who enjoy the addon and have a vested interest in getting it working. Spamming in the meantime is not in your best interests, OP, as it will only serve to frustrate those whose help you wish to garner.
Additionally, people are less likely to help you when your message is simply "it's broken".
Providing some more info will increase your chances of getting some actual help.
What kind of info, you may be wondering? It could help you to preemptively answer such things as:
Is it showing up in your addon list?
Do you have out-of-date addon loading enabled?
Are you using any other addons that could be conflicting with it?
How is it broken?
Is any functionality present?
Are you getting an error message?
If so, what error message?
Are you getting any additional bugs when it's enabled?
et cetera
