The map shows locations of where to start quests and in some (about 3% of the time) the icons do not clear automatically even with settings in place to auto clear when completed. In the 3% that did not clear, was forced to clear them manually by un-checking and then rechecking the box. Doing this to one clears all completed quests that showed.

This threw me off thinking there was still quests in the area till i hovered over them and did a search of my quest history to find i had done them as i thought.
