Hmm... I'm not sure what's happening there. In all of my tests, button 8 was inside of the unit frame and that's to the left of button 7. I can't think of why it would be different on your system.
If you mouse right left to right, with the framestack enabled, starting where your aura button 8 is overlapping the action bar... do you see the auras counting down from 8 to 1? And, is there space between the aura buttons? Where is button 1 relative to the unit frame?
