With the latest update of RealUI, PhanxChat is broken.

All chats work fine except General, Trade, and LocalDefense.

PhanxChat operates fine when RealUI isn't loaded though so the problem has to be RealUI. Also, I went back to using Chatter (used to be the chat mod included with RealUI back in the MoP days) and that works just fine in trade/general/localdefense.

Fixed in r18k
