Those noises are caused by addons that do not properly unregister the ARTIFACT_UPDATE event from the default ui before scanning the artifact data. Such addons are Exorsus Raid Tools and Hedd for example. Other side effects from this are that other UI panels may be closed or rearranged when you hear that sound.
Not if you take care about that. One has to unregister ARTIFACT_UPDATE for both UIParent and ArtifactFrame.
