I am happy to say I have been able to get the map working again!
I noticed there was a RealUI update on 6/30 so I installed that but the map remained unable to be interacted with.
So I then copied over my Interface and WTF folders to a thumb drive and reinstalled RealUI from scratch - mapped worked fine.
I then selectively added back over my other essential mods, as well as copying back over my WTF folder to restore their settings.
Here is a list of things I did not copy over that were perhaps included in previous iterations of RealUI? They were not part of the latest update so I left them off and there doesn't appear to be any issue with the RealUI interface without them:
