I would assume that it is compatible with Geist.
nUI, unlike Dominoes, actually reuses the Blizzard action bar engine so that it remains fully compatible with Bliz's action bar design and mods that are reliant on that... that's why it doesn't allow you to do the same thing Dominoes does in that regard.
