Looking for some kind of addon to do this job

So.. some addon that shows all that rolling spam in a simple frame and hides after a while. I could make a new chat window but.. i don't get it to work properly..

Try that, just make sure to turn on Detailed Loot Info if you use this.

That's my prefered option builtin wow, I think you should really look at it before trying an addon just for that purpose, you just have to create a new tab called for example "TABTEST", then right click on this new tab and select the settings. Now you should untick all what do you want to not see in this frame and tick only loot message and then in your mainframe repeat the processus, right click the main tab, the one you want to exclude loot messages, select settings and just untick the message you have previously ticked in the TABTEST window, that way you wont see them in your main tab but they will be loggued in you TABTEST. I do this for filtering NPC speaks, /2 channel so, very good option.
