Global settings

I'm an altoholic... and to be honest, I'm getting sick of having to redo my nUI interface. I was wondering if theres a way to make the settings stick globally so that everytime I start a new character or log on to an existing one that I haven't logged onto before, it uses the same settings as my previous characters?

If not, then this is a suggestion

Also, is it possible to get autobar to dock with nUI? (Another suggestion )

Currently, where I have autobar, if there is 4 or more buffs in the aura frame, autobar covers it.

Profiles are already on the to-do list which will let you both change the notion of what "default" is and to copy profiles from one player to another.

Autobar type functionality is already on the to-do list, as well. I do not intend to directly integrate autobar however.

The easiest thing I can recommend for making nUI look the same across all toons is to set one character exactly as you want it for them all. Then go into that characters saved variables folder, usually at this path:

\WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\SERVERNAME\TOONNAME\SavedVariables

You'll want to copy nUI.lua from that folder and paste it into the SavedVariables folder under each toon's name. That will copy the layout to all toons.

I normally just copy/paste Silver's folder, and rename each copied folder to my alts names. That way all settings for all addons get copied and kept.
