I get that box sometimes when I go to a vendor that can repair at

thats the box of my dmg done or something i think i had it in place before but i removed the ui scale when i was playing my alt and after i got on my lock i resied the ui and that box stayed where its at now

That is the black box that goes behind either the Context Menu or the Simplified and self damage combat logs. It means there was a shift in some positions and you should probably remazzify your layout. And you need to have UI scale on. Otherwise things will not setup correctly and there positions will change (based on whether or not it is a per character saved variable).

My suggestion for alts that you want to change size with would be to actually resize the stuff with the individual mods themselves (though this has complications on a whole scale of their own). Such is one of the facts of a self adjusting mod package.
