Carbonite Pinging non-users

As a longtime player of wow, I use a lot of addons- and I know that each additional addon I use affects my performance. However, What I do not care for is having addons that I -don't- use or never have used slowing me down.

I recently installed AddonSpamFu, which tracks any time an addon pings me for information. Far and away Carbonite is the highest pinging addon. I do not use carbonite and never have. I'm not even playing on a computer which has ever used carbonite.

What's more, is that carbonite is pinging me from random toons in the world- lvl 52 rogues in EPL, lvl 15 nobodies in westfall. Sure, it's only a few bytes per second. But it's incessant and makes a huge difference after a while. At this moment I've been afk for 20 minutes, yet my computer has had to handle 14,297 requests from carbonite.

How can I prevent carbonite from spamming me?
