addon to modify nameplates

i dont understand why the bars over mobs or players head are so big, with this option enabled, if many around, you can see nothing, just bars....... So is a addon to resize these stupid bars? i still want to see them but reduced or better, editable custom size

There is also an option to have the nameplate bars "stack" on top of each other, rather than sit side-by-side for instances when you are fighting large groups of enemies. This may help with addition of any previously mentioned addons.

You can shrink the bars with _VirtualPlates. It works with any of the other mods listed here too, in case you like the looks of one.

I use Aloft, highly customized. I checked out TidyPlates, but realized to get the same visual effect I would have to create my own module for it (something I'm still considering).

Tidyplates is like oUF, there are many layouts you can download and then modify to fit your needs if the layout doesn't support it. Basically, the different versions are made by people who use Tidyplates and modified its layout to fit their needs and decided to release their own layout as a separate addon.

Personally, I love caelnameplates, especially after I changed the font to one that fits the rest of my UI.

I've moved to changing the artwork for the default nameplates - AI-Art by Quokka inspired me to try it. It comes with textures already for the nameplate border and glow.

It turns out not to be too difficult.

At last check, there was no in-game options. All config is done via Lua.
