Thumbs down Prat: Limited 'editbox' tweaking

I'm using Prat now to modify my chatlog interface. It's massive what you can do with it but I've found one option lacking. You can't change the 'editbox' height. You know, that little frame that comes up after hitting the enter button which allows you to type in the text you want to appear in the chatlog.
Why would I want to do that? Well, I've made a 2nd fubar thats alligned and attached to the bottom of my screen. Any plugins on that bar were changed to the right side of that bar so I make some place on the left of that bar so I could reposition the editbox directly under the chatlog's frame but on top of the leftside part of that 2nd fubar. If I could lower it's height it would seem like the editbox is part of the fubar and that would give a clean result. I could change the fubars height but the result isn't what I would call 'satisfying'!

Anyone knows how to change the editbox's height. Ofcourse I would also have to change its font since it's quite a big font (also not in Prat since you can only modify the chatlog font).
