MazzleUI 1.1 Preview
Just posted the new version to the beta group, so I thought I'd let you guys know a little more about what's in store for the next version. To pre-emptively answer the easiest question in advance, no I don't know when it will be released publically. I have a few more features I'd like to add while people try this out for a bit.
Anyway, here's the current change log for this version:

So am I getting this right from the log that you got rid of Discord's Unit Frames?

I'm not sure why you'd come to that conclusion, but the answer is no. It still uses DUF.
That said, switching to Pitbull is fairly high on my list for a future version. It'll just take a good bit of work to get the unit frames to look similar and to translate the hot swapping raid layouts.

i think i just had an IRL mazzlegasm! i'm excited to hear you're planning on switching to pitbull. I'm also assuming you're looking into the threat-1.0 library and Omen as an alternative to KTM in the future.
I'm SO Excited! thanks for all the fantastic work, and for not listening to all the trolls! |

Hey Mazzle,
Since your going to incorporate Pitbull in sometime or another I was wondering if you could script some code with it. Some how to show targets like XPerl does or will you include an assist addon like MainAssist in any of your future packs. |

Just wanted to say thanks again for all this hard work - please don't let all the ingrate whiners make you quit as the rest of us adore this compilation.

I am using MazzleUI for 2 days now, and though I really need to get used to it, I think it's the most professional and greatest UI's out there. Thanks for creating this, and I completely agree with Ridcully, keep up the great work (nevermind the whiners).
Now a bit more on-topic Can't wait to try this new version.. |

(Don't believe me? Go ahead and browse the Button_Layout LUA file and do a search for "Joypunk". You won't find it. All the layouts there are still named "Joyluck".) |

/bow to Mazzle
I'd like to start by saying thank you!
I'm relatively new to this game (about 2 months), and I'm totally in love with your UI. I don't think the game should be played without it. Please don't listen to any winers. That being said, I have three question. Since the patch, I've done a reinstall, I've updated Ace, and I've taken out Bongos and replaced it with Bongos2. (I've also unchecked a few addons that I don't use, and are out-of-date). I know that I'm probably not getting all of the features MazzleUI has to offer, but I am only getting about 1 error per week (And I'll take that!). -Am I going to see problems in the future with this Bongos2 change? (it's been running well for about 2 weeks) -Is there a setting where I can get the health bar over a mobs head when I am in combat? Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it's not. I would like to be able to see all of the HP (or at least the %) when I am in combat with a group of mobs, so I can see which have full HP and which are about to die. -Does auctioneer work well with Mazzle? Thanks again for all of your hard work. I can't wait for the new version. P.S. Can anyone be a beta tester? Or do you pick who gets the beta version? Quagnome lvl 27 Gnome warlock. |
