Apologies on the delays in PotWs... New house combined with house guests make for not much computer time.
Hoot:
Do you play with a group of friends and like to keep up on what they're doing? Hoot is an addon based on the social and micro-blog site,
Twitter. Anyone with Hoot installed will be able to see Hoots posted by others. Post comments on what you're doing, set your current status, or comment on other people's Hoots. Mousing over a player's name will show their status, recent things they've killed and other info. Since Hoot is still in a beta state, now is your time to offer suggestions and other helpful tidbits to the author!
To try it out yourself, see its
download page.
Tidy Threat:
This is a cute little threat meter that resembles a thermometer. As the meter's bar goes up and down, the color of the bar changes depending on your threat status. Over 100% threat is displayed for tanks, as well as comparison with the next person down on the threat list. The meter fits neatly between the default unit frames (pictured above), but can also be moved anywhere on your screen.

Are you the author of a mod that you think belongs in this spotlight? Just upload/update it to WoWInterface, and it will automatically be considered for that week's Pick.
