Show/Hide Art Frames

Is there a way to show or hide art frames based on whether or not a player is in combat? I'd like to create an action bar that is hidden while out of combat.

Did you mess around with the 'states' for your action bars ?

I don't think you can do anything with the bar states in RDX other than paging (at least I can't figure out how to hide it in outof combat). Thanks for the suggestion though.

on a similar note, I need to hide an action bar until I press <CTRL> + <SHIFT>

I have not found a viable solution yet either.
