Character Mods GOTH

Hello,
While in a recent dungeon, I saw that the Night Elves had black hair and thick goth eyeliner and makeup!
Is there a way for me to mod my character to look like them?

Nope. Model editing is not allowed and can get you banned.

Blizzard isn't real big on technicalities, and they don't often answer questions regarding "why" when a player does something... umm... "not so smart" enough to get them banned. Just take Seerah's word for it. It WILL get you banned.

Posting Unreleased Content / Hacking Data Files
This category includes language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

Show unreleased in-game items, equipment, or areas that have been unlocked by hacking into client data files
Show the results of hacking or any tampering of the game’s MPQ files
Discuss, or display any data not available through normal game play

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:

Be permanently banned from the Battle.net forums

Although it just says forums, I'm sure it applies to your whole battle.net account.

The interface is one thing. Skins for clothes and weapons are entirely different.

The interface is something that overlays the game world and can be changed under the terms of use. Anything that changes things in the 3d world itself (even if it only appears on your own screen) is strictly forbidden.

We're not trying to have an argument with you, we're simply stating the way things are.

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

Using addons doesn't modify game files. Changing models does modify game files. Therein lies the difference.

Also, the reason this rule exists is to prevent things like making the Peacebloom graphics 5000 times larger, essentially allowing you to reach and pick that herb from unfair distances compared to those without modified files. If you were to try that, you will get permanently banned. For changing your character model aesthetically, without doing it in a manner that gives you an unfair advantage over others, is very likely to get you banned, but occasionally you may just be suspended for a while. Regardless, it's not worth trying.
