when u download mics doesn't it comes already configured

I'm sorry, what are you asking? I really don't understand. Are you talking about a specific addon? If so, can you give a link to it? If not, what are you referring to?

I think he means MikScrollingBattleText. But I have no idea why it shouldn't work.

If you are referring to MikScrollingBattleText, then type in /mik and check if the 'Enable' Check box has a check in it, if it doesn't, it's not on.

Also log out and check your Addon list at the character screen to see if it's enabled.

You might want to check the folder in the addons directory. When you download it, it gives you a ZIP named "MikScrollingBattleText-5.6.108.zip" or something along those lines, the two folders INSIDE the zip are what you want. They should be named "MikScrollingBattleText" and "MSBTOptions". Those are the two folders you want to transfer to your Addons Folder.

If that doesn't work, I suggest going into your WTF folder, go to account and then saved variables and look for MikScrollingBattleText and delete it.

If none of those work, the most likely reason is you didn't do something properly or there is some information that you might not know and was left out, which won't help us help you :<
