I prefer playing without player names (the name/guild/rank hovering above peoples heads). It looks better without them, and it's easer to see stuff in raids with 40 people with the player names turned off.
There is a problem, tough. When PvP'ing, seeing the player names is a vital part of the combat. Therefore, I gotta turn this on/off via the interface options menu. The 1000th time you do this, you're pretty fed up with it.
So, I created this little addon. It shows/hides player names based on the PvP status of the zone you're in. In friendly zones, typical intsances, cities, noob zones etc player names will not be visible. As soon as you enter a PvP zone, such as a battleground, a contested area, a hostile area, player names will be visible.
Not a very sophisticated thingie, and it's mainly written for personal use. You neven know, tough, so I thought I could share it.
