Sometimes icons not loaded

Sometimes icons do not load or they are not visible on frames. For example, a toast frame. How to solve this problem?

And the question on the forum. Is there a forum search function? Could not find

Can't help you with the icons.

But the forum search function is under the header Forums, mouse over it and look at the third line.

Can't help either, but I can confirm I am having this same issue with some of my private addons. They do appear on mouse over.

A few years ago I saw a theme related to caching icons. But I can not find

I wrote a really simple test routine, confirmed the issue and submitted it as a bug to Blizzard. Hopefully someday it will get fixed hehe.

It's a 7.3 bug; doesn't even have to be an addon, either.

Just flying around hovering cursor over stuff on the minimap, the up/down arrows on the tooltips always either 1) don't appear or 2) take forever to appear.

This is a similar thing that's happening with every other in-game asset. World map, icons in inventory, textures on interfaces, everything. I suppose perhaps it affects addons more as I've seen icons simply not appearing at all until I reloaded that part of the interface (either manually, or from the addon updating itself in real time), but maybe Blizzard's own default UI repeatedly loads those assets until it can ensure things got loaded?
Pretty sure the arrows on minimap tooltips don't appear until I mouse over that object a second time so I guess some of default UI's elements aren't immune either.

Hopefully it will get resolved before long, maybe even during maintenance.

You may have noticed it on the battle.net login/logout notifications in chat, as well. The icons there tend to not show until I scroll up and back down.
