Nothing that I know of. I've never used facebook. I just know Myspace is a bit retarded. But then again, I'm not 16 either.

Myspace vs Facebook

Myspace reminds me alot of websites that where built in the late 90s as the web became popular. Many of the Myspace sites resemble some of my first attempts at building my own website (attempts that I now consider to be quite horrid, /shudder).

Facebook is lot more like today's "Web 2.0" style of site in terms of layouts, coding such. They are a lot cleaner, no flashing annoying images and look professional as opposed to Myspace's hodgepodge. Myspace sites remind me a lot of some contraption built during an episode of the show "Junkyard Wars" ("Scrapheap Challenge" to you Brits).

Granted I do not spend much time (if any) on either site except to follow links from blogs and such.


I have now joined the MMOInterface group. My first Facebook group ever. That shows you how active I am on Facebook.

Xinh's summary of these two social networks is pretty accurate. Both are gimmicks that lose alot of their appeal quickly, but at least Facebook has never made my eyes bleed, and I've met back up with some strangers from way-back-when (like high school).

I'm in the group though.
