i have been having an issue with grid2 where my raid groups always start with horizontal groups, even though it is unchecked from the realui config. A simple ui reload will fix it but its annoying. Sometimes when i get a loading screen from going through a portal or hearthing or something it will shift grid2 way to the left. It doesn't seem like the raid frames section of realui is actually controlling anything with grid2.

Check on the Raid Frames tab that you have the Positions check box enabled and you have good settings in the Positions tab.

Joining a LFR its fine, and starts where its supposed to, if I go from 1 lfr directly into another without leaving group it shifts left. If i join a raid such as my second screen shot it starts to the left with horizontal groups, if i reload ui it goes back to where it should w/ vertical groups. The positions check box is enabled and the positions tab should still be default for grid.

ok so I think the problem has to do with the fact that it is setting my groups to horizontal. If I go to realui config>raid frames and enable horizontal groups it will shift it back over to where its supposed to go. If i uncheck it it shifts it back to the left, but it doesn't change it to vertical groups.
