Removing tool tip in center of minimap

I have looked everywhere and can not find how to stop the tool tip that pops up in the middle of the minimap when you cursor over the map. It is a grayish box that give coords and such in the middle of the map. Is there a way to disable this function? thank you in advance

On one of the minimap option screens, there is a checkbox to place the tooltips at the top of the map. That's the only place I've seen where you can change it.

The Location Tip is in the top right corner unless you changed the settings in the Map options page. The game tooltip appears at your cursor unless set to appear at the top of the map in the options.
