How do I Transfer control of a mod to another user?

I have a mod, XUB that I am going to abandon because I will be leaving WoW. How do I go about allowing other people to maintain it? Can I transfer control to somebody else or should they just create another download area and maintain it as an independent mod?

It has about 12,000 downloads across this site (WorldOfWar.net and Curse), and gets about 1000-2000 downloads/week.

When you find someone to maintain it, have them notify a moderator on this site, and we will change control of the addon to the new author. This will help keep a consistent page for your users.

I wish to transfer control of the "eXtreme Unit Buttons" to the user "paladindrome". We have sent emails to the moderators as this post suggests, but nothing has happened. Should drome post a message to this forum entry too to confirm his acceptance of the transfer, or what is the process we should be following?
