Display each item's gear level on character screen

I'd like to see the iLevel number of each piece of gear displayed overlaid on its icon in the character screen.

The idea is that I'd see at a glance what my lowest gear is so that I could make appropriate choices for gearing up. Maybe even highlight the lowest/highest items. It's so exhausting and tedious to mouse over each item individually.

Does such an addon exist? Anyone else think this would be useful?
