Is there any way to be able to control Winamp from within WoW? Or like a music player that imports the library from Winamp? Or even just a music player would be nice. That would be awesome..

I don't even use music players on my PC. I use a handheld digital player, plugged in through the sound card Line In jack. This way I have independent control of it without needing to alt tab or access it from within a game. It sits right next to me on my desk. Just thought I'd provide this little option for those that rely on music players.

there is no way to do that without violating the TOS. You're not allowed to have any third party data coming into the game, or haveing any game exported to a third party program. Sucks i know.

There is a Winamp addon that is called 'SneakyAmp' that I used in Everquest before they made it so you could ALT+TAB out into Windowed mode. Basically the addon will allow you to manipulate Winamp from within WoW. I think it does so by using the keyboard buffer or something to that effect. Anyway, a quick search on Google for Sneaky Amp should point you in the right direction. I'm sure they have the technical explanition and wether it would violate the TOS of WoW.

My solution is simply to start my musicplayer program (I use iTunes mostly) before I start WoW, if I feel the need to change the music I simply make sure I am in a safe place in the game, alt+tab out, change the settings and go back into the game. While it would be slightly more convenient to be able to play music from within the game the way that this game smoothly minimizes on alt+tab makes it nowhere near as annoying a solution as it was in EQ or any other MMORG that I have played.
