GridTank ?

Hi everybody !

I'd like to know if you've ever wanted to doom this little annoying mob which is jumping on everyone but on you while you're tanking (making him impossible to click on)?

Such as this guy

I would like to know if it would exist an addon which could show every raid/group members (such as Grid) and, if they're targetted, showing the mob which is attacking him.
In my mightiest dreams you could be able to clic on the portrait of the friend and then targetting the mob on him.

Have you ever heard about this?

The problem isn't those big guys (they were just an example).

I'd like to know if there already exists an addon looking like grid and which could show me who's attacking my buddie.

Else I would try to work on it, good options would then be :

• Being able to classify team members (dps/heal/tank)
• Clickable portraits of the ennemy

Could you all give me your opinion on it?

Start your work with how you target mobs
That keeps your work short and you'll realize early
that it's (nearly) impossible to get information about
a mob nobody has in target.

And when someone in your group has a target that is
not the one you tank ... well, no addon can help you there

You're totaly right...
But then, it should be possible to see when a party member is attacked...
I'll try to work on it to see what I can do ^^ (as you might have seen I'm a newbie with addoning any help will... herm... help?)

Actually nUI does this, but it's a complete stand-alone UI. The unitframes change color based on what's happening to that player. When you click on their unitframe a little target button appears that enables you to assist them.

Just remember that "assist them" means that you'll attack/target what they have *targeted* - not necessarily what is attacking them.
