uninstall issues

I downloaded and tested out nUI today (using Curse) and after playing w/ it for a few hours I decided it wasn't for me. Once I removed the Addon I have 3 problems, 2 of which I can't fix and would like some help if possible.

1. Key chain button is missing from the UI. This is happening on all of my characters (I only used the Addon w/ one of my characters). I have the WOW client installed on another machine which I didn't even have the nUI Add on installed on and the key button is still missing from the out-of-the-box interface. So this issue appears to have been uploaded to my account on the servers (like your button config is) . I can get around this by mapping my key chain to a hot key but I'd like but button back.

2. Above the default XP progress bar there is now a green reputation button which I can't find any doc on how to remove. This issue is only happening on my toon that I used nUI with. This issue is occuring on both the machine that I installed nUI on and the one I didn't so it looks like it is associated w/ my account but just this toon. I don't have this issue at all with my other toons.

3. FIXED. The third issue was the issue with the chat windows but I found the fix for it on your FAQ....thanks.

For #1 and #2...is there a way I can reset my button config w/ Blizzard? I've tried deleting the WTF, Cache, and Interface directories but that didn't help.

Hmm, I've never noticed those problems before. Chat frames yeah but the others I don't recognise .. can you post a screenshot to see if I can recognise anything.

I think this happens because nUI sets a "watched" faction for reputation. As this is not unique to nUI, but a function of the default Blizzard interface the choice has persisted after you've uninstalled nUI. Go and have a look at your reputations and you should find the offending one has a tick next to it to indicate that it is now being "watched".

Kodewulf is correct... nUI sets a "watched" faction when you get reputation updates. That's easy to fix... just press "U" to open the reputation frame and scroll down until you find the one that is checked and uncheck it.

The chat frame thing, as well, you've already found the fix for, so good deal there.

The last item, the keyring, I'm at a complete loss. nUI only moves the keyring button when it is loaded and to the best of my knowledge, there's no character specific, or account wide, option to enable/disable the keyring display, etc. I don't believe this was caused by nUI, though I could be wrong, and I have no clue how you would go about fixing it.

Thanks guys for the info on the rep progress bar...that did it. So the remaining issue is the missing key chain button. Like I said I did bind it to a keyboard shortcut so I do have a work around in place.

I totally forgot to mention in my OP that I'm on a Mac.

Attached is a screenshot of the missing keychain button on the default UI. The attached screenshot was taken w/ after I blew away all of the folders necessary to reset your UI so no Addon's are running here.

Try this just for giggles...

1) Exit WoW
2) Rename [ World of Warcraft > WTF ] to [ World of Warcraft > WTF.saved ]
3) Log back in to WoW

Is the keychain back?

(I still say this is not an nUI thing)

I just googled the issue with the keyring. It has been around for ages. Two possible solutions are to delete your cache, or wait until you get a new key and the keyring will (or should) reappear.
