HUD arrow missing on one character but shows on others

My son is stressing over this, and I'm starting too.
The HUD arrow does not show up on his main, yet on all the other characters in his account they do.

I upgraded to the current version and still nothing. At first I thought, it was just his machine, so I tested it on mine. Same thing.

I don't know what I'm missing. Routes show up on the mini map and the large map, just now arrow, not even when we're dead.

I've reset it, deleted the folders and reinstalled it. Nothing.

try /carb resetwin this will reset the carbonite windows to their default settings.

It may have gone off screen for that character.

Try this: Open your Carbonite options and then the "Tracking HUD" page (last one all the way on the bottom). make sure the "Hide" check box is empty.

I don't know why, but that sometimes happens to me. I never choose to hide the Tracking HUD, but it still (somehow) gets hidden occasionally.
