WIP for v7

Going for a more "Classic" WoW look.

Deciding on if I should go with black (Top) or Classic (Bottom) for UF color: http://surl.se/fqmr

On my list to do for it is the following (no particular order):

* Stay with current buffs/debuffs display (standard UI with dream buff) or switch to ebb or ct_buffs (i actually like ct_buffs)
* swap out nquestlog for beq or quest_fu
* drop chartographer and add in tekMapEnhancer w/tomtom for coords on the main map.
* Add Stancebar and Minimap boarder texture
* Darken UFs
* Add in simple cast bar time
* Drop Autobar for bars that fade out or Klappa. I don't like the new autobar as much as the old one
* Anything else I can think of along the way to completing this... lol

pssttt. I like everything, but the unit frames aren't very good That's basically the only thing I never liked about the blizzard UI, the unit frames. I'm sure others have different opinions but that's just mine ;p

I've actually liked them myself after making/using all kinds of UF mods lol.

Definitely looking forward to this! It is a great approach to trying to stay true to the original Blizz UI and yet minimalist all at the same time, so as to be sleeker and more refined.

I'll be honest, I have never downloaded one of your compilations before, but I have always watched them, much like many others out there. I really like the direction you are going with this and will most likely be downloading it.

Keep up the good work!

P.S. - I think the default skinned unit-frames go much better with the artwork. If you can come up with something to match the textures, I'm sure there would be some other options that would look just as well. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the textures added for the other bars.

Thanks, I am going to try and darken the original UF artwork.

I just need to get the art work that's around the stance bar and fix what I did for quarts to make it look like the original in game cast bar, for some reason when the game loads the texture goes behind quartz .

Here is a another preview pic with map and cast bar done: http://surl.se/fsvn

Well I finally had time to get tools together to to the blp2png and back conversion on the default UI textures.

I'm going to change Unit Frames, Mirror Bar Border and look at action buttons and buff/debuffs.

Finished Editing Unit Frames and Cast bar. I haven't found a texture yet for the stance/shape shift bar but I actually like it hidden set to show on mouse over.

what are you using for the 3-d portrait? It's a square frame inside the circle UF for target. Are you using ADAPT or something else?

@Reiss:
Yes I will be releasing this UI, but there are still things to finish on it. It's taking longer than normal to do because I only have an hour or so a day to work on it. I haven't even started trying to see how it does in a raid yet .

@Seerah:
I am using adapt, for some reason that pic makes the target portrait look square. Normally it looks circular like it should.

Edit...bad English when falling asleep...

Take all the time you need then to finish it Lanacan, at least I now know you will be releasing it which makes me a happy camper. Wish ya the best of luck with whatever your doing in RL or WoW if it happens to involve raiding.

And get some sleep if ya need it, it ain't like we will be leaving ya while you sleep.

Go into the Pitbul options

1) enable the pet frame (it might be turned off)

2)in the text options you can change what it shows for health and power bar text.

There will be a v7.1 coming soon. The only real change is that I'll include my cyCircle_VolG and the minimap texture recolored to a gold as well.

Also I'm working on v8 already as well >.< I just can't stop creating new layouts .

Ha ha, I just wanted to thank you for the hard work you put into your project here. And i am loving version 7, especially the unitframes the most. I'll be looking at this thread for updates now.
