Maybe your are right:

If the frames a chaning so I go into a group or so, thats a bad a relly bad positoining and sizing. After an reload everything is allright. Maybe thats also because TiTanPanel is chaning or try to change the UI skaling. I dont know.

And tzhe Problem with the UI skaling also happens every time I switch back to desktop and back to WoW again. thats crazy.

Here is a screenshot:

Problem found:

If I enable the TiTanPanel function that TiTan never change the UI sizing, then nUI6 do change the UI size itself to 1 switching to Desktop and back to WoW.

With disabling that, Titan takes care of the UI size and everything is allright.

Look at the Screenshot, this only happens to nUI6 Frames. The nUI5 frames are set allright.

well then Edit this again:
The Bug with the sizing (not positioning thats atm allright) accoured at the moment always the Frames Change from Single to Party frames. A /nui rl fixxed that.

I am having problems with my mini-map dropping the map details. Whenever I go into combat or when I change areas the map goes black and remains black unless I reload my UI. I am an herbalist so being able to see the mini-map details is important for me. This happens for all my chars across several servers. I can sometimes get the mini-map details back if I go to main map and then back.

Also, my pet bars do not show, and this happens on my hunter & lock & mage. This is also across several realms.

I get an occassional loss of my xp bar too, but usually after a reload UI it remains working till I change characters.

Love this mod, can't wait till it's up fully!!!

First... issues with the XP bar and the pet bar would both have nothing to do with nUI6 as they are both still managed by nUI5.

That said, are you switching in and out of windowed mode by any chance? It sounds like you may be describing the problem with the graphics rendering engine in WoW. The XP bar should only go away if you are level 80 (soon to be level 85) and otherwise there's no explanation for it being hidden other than the graphics bug described here: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=25715

Yeah... I haven't added those other icons to the unit frames in the alpha yet... this weekend I hope.

I am not using windowed mode, never have, never will. Today, I paid a bit more attention when I logged in. Every char, on every server, had a black mini-map that would only show details if I did a reload UI. After that, it would take a look at main map and back to get the details to show.

It's frustrating with all the little things that aren't working properly, but I know it's alpha and it's the best UI I have used.

I'm also getting the scaling issues with the MiniMap, on my laptop it seems fine Res 1366 x 768.

However on my main pc all resolutions I've tried 1680 x 1024, 1766 x 1000 and 1920 x 1080 all have the sizing issues, I've not noticed the minimap jumping to the top of the screen just not filling the available space correctly at the bottom of the screen. opening and closing the main map seems to correct the scaling. also turning off the nui minimap control seems to correctly scale the map however it changes to the circular standard map with your additional square frame around it.

Other than that not having any issues.

I've noticed the minimap size change too but not noticed any commonalities when it happens or any differences when it doesn't. I do play windowed mode however, I hate full screen

my minimap always seems small on login but a reload or a zone seems to fix that issue
Resolution is 1600x900

Well... I tried to get the update out tonight, but it's almost 2am and I still have issues in the shapeshift and pet bars that I can't figure out... so, it's going to have to wait for tomorrow I'm afraid.

Sorry.

And just so you guys know, all the nUI plugins we know and love won't work unless you changed the toc to use nUI6 instead of nUI

Well, hopefully then it will work .. I won't know until I am able to test it again which won't be for a while.

LDB Bars ie Chocolate bars, bottom bar does not shift the panels up and if I tried to move my 3rd bar up the top frame does not shift down but the aura bar does

Also I take it we have no right side info panels? I have everything overlapping each other and no way to switch between them. Panels like Carbonite, Omen/Recount, Hitsmode, Map, Combat. Edit .. Xrystal answered this as I was writing this so no biggie

Other than that things looking good.

Yes... this is *alpha* code -- it is the unit frames, action bars (including pet/possess/shapeshift/micro menu) and the watch frame... nothing else.

No info panels, no integration with other mods, etc... it's pure test code for the core logic although at this point it should be pretty playable and Cata compatible.

But but but we want it all and we want it now (mmm that's a good song)

But joking aside, I understand, guess I just forgot that we had 5 and 6 working together before hand and now its the bare naked 6. I must say the memory footprint is doing well. A hour on and a couple instances later I'm only at 17.7MB on nUI6... now only if I can get past this 3rd PvZ quest ..

No, I m running WoW in FullScreen Mode and the crazy thing is that with nUI5 and any other Addon everything is alright. Only with nUI6 this happens.

As you released today the new Alpha I m not testing th elast Version right now. I give you a report about the new Alpha as soon as I can get time for it.
