hey Qynova,
i looked at the pic u had with the raid party up, what addon is that? i like that it shows main tank and main tank target on the right side of the screen, i really would like that let me know which one does that!

Yep, That is pitbull in configuration mode so you can configure everything. It creates dummy frames for raid/party/maintanks/maintank targets etc. so you can see how the layout will look when you're in a group or raid.

one last thing... i hope!
so i tried a few of these addons, is there any that onyl change the placment of the main UI. so the look of ashura, or mazzle, without all the bs, and also, even when im only running 20-25 mb of addons, im doing 8-10 FPS ( only tested in zangarmarsh) any idea's on what i can do? I am running amd 3000, with 769 MB of ram, and BTW im married, so "get a new computer" is not a fesible fix! at most i can probably sneek enough to get 2 512 ram sticks, instead of the 1 512 and the 256!

The "Getting a new computer" term is quite successful if you follow up with it and do get a new computer though

UI memory, to my knowledge doesn't affect frame rates a great deal. It is you graphics card(mainly), CPU and RAM (I guess), that is affecting your frame rates. Turn all of your video settings for wow on low to maximize performance.

prior to addons everything ran great, after addons, it is laggy, and by laggy i mean frame rate. Any advice on a good vid card? ( and i tried turning everything down, same FPS)

Malcite - well, I've got 264 folders in my addons directory, some of those are libraries... and none are for raiding at the moment

the framerate is so crappy because it's running on my laptop (desktop's graphics card is 'unwell').

You can disable Metamap's co-ords in its options and also make the tracking symbol appear as Metamap's minimap icon if you wanted.

If I disable MM's coords, will that affect the list of coords when I open the map or lose the ability to set waypoints? Why would I want the tracking symbol to appear as a minimap icon? You mean the arrow? Ya'll need to remember here that I've only been playing for about a week. lol
