Help: Cant catch any events except for VARIABLES_LOADED.

Hi there,

As being a newbie I try to create a simple logger to play around with events.

I try to catch BAG_OPEN and TRADE_REQUEST events, however, all I see happening is that when the addon is loaded the VARIABLES_LOADED event is catched (once) and after that no events seem to appear.

I do durin OnLoad:
this:Register("VARIABLES_LOADED");
this:Register("TRADE_REQUEST");
this:Register("BAG_OPEN");

I seem to be able to catch CHAT_MESSAGE_CHANNEL as well (I tried for testing).

Any idea how to catch the BAG_OPEN / TRADE_REQUEST events?

Neither TRADE_REQUEST or BAG_OPEN will trigger for me either. The former doesn't appear in any FrameXML files (which doesn't mean it can't exist), but BAG_OPEN does tho it doesn't appear to do much if it worked.

You may try registering for TRADE_SHOW as a substitute for TRADE_REQUEST.

For BAG_OPEN, you could hook ContainerFrame_OnShow, which is called when a bag appears. Not sure if this would work for bank bags also:
