MazzleUI 1.11 Core

To simplify the release of patches by users and the updating of the constituent add-ons now that I don't play WoW, I've posted a reduced version of MazzleUI 1.1, which I'll call MazzleUI 1.115 Core. The main difference is that most third-party add-ons, which were quite out of date, have been removed. The download consists of the fonts folder, the four MazzleUI add-ons, the various MazzleUI skins, the modified version of Bongos and the modified version of GfxToggle.

Extract the "Interface" folder from the MazzleUI 1.1 Core zip file into your World of Warcraft directory. This step starts you with the basic MazzleUI files.
Extract the files from a MazzleUI compatible compilation, such as the one found here into your World of Warcraft/Interface/Add-Ons folder. This step gives you the latest add-ons.

You should then be able to proceed with the installation normally.

Note: On a Macintosh, when you drag one folder on top of another folder, it will delete the old one and replace it with the new one. Be aware of this if it asks you to overwrite.

Note: The main download on the MazzleUI download page is the new core version.

Thanks guys. The patch by Detard and and reconstituted core by Mazzlefizz really did the trick. My two primary's and two bank characters took all of 10 minutes.

One small thing id like too point out, and how i fixed it:

Cartographer: Mazzle 1.1 had run cartographerlod.bat Detard-WoW2.3-AddOnPack-MazzleUI-3.5 had NOT. This results in bugsack errors and duplicate files.

This is how i fixed it: Starting in the addon's folder: Delete:

Cartographer_Battlegrounds
Cartographer_Coordinates
Cartographer_Foglight
Cartographer/Cartographer_GroupColors
Cartographer_GuildPositions
Cartographer_InstanceLoot
Cartographer_InstanceMaps
Cartographer_InstanceNotes.toc
Cartographer_LookNFeel.toc
Cartographer_Notes.toc
Cartographer_POI.toc
Cartographer_Professions.toc
Cartographer_Waypoints
Cartographer_ZoneInfo

Then, in the folder named Cartographer and double click cartographerlod.bat. Thats it you're done.

Hi.

Im trying to install MazzleUI and i followed the directions exactly and nothing happened. When i go to load out of date addons, a lot of them say next to it that the Dependency is missing. I log in, and nothing happens. What am i doing wrong?

I followed all the steps but for some reason when i look at the addons there is no mazzle ui and 4 addons need that to function. Because it says dependencie missing. Could u pls help me with that. Like i said i followed the instructions for mazzle ui core and nothing

You also need the addon pack. The dependencies are in the addon pack.

i am having a issue to get the menu to config everything to appear. I got the welcome menu to come up but nothing else happens.. and i am not sure how to get it to work . some help would be great.

Pryus look at the dates on all the previous posts in this thread. Unfortunately, mazzleui was permanently broken sometime around patch 2.4. The good news is there are many good alternatives out there, and the one that leads the pack is nUI. Give it a try!

Is it just me, or have the update notes not been changed since 1.15? The filename changed, but unless I'm missing something, the content didn't.
Has it only been minor bugfixes since 1.15, or is there anything one should be aware of?

Just minor fixes. All the fixes have been posted in various other threads.

DocEVL, I wanted to add my thanks for keeping up this great addon pack and Mazzle, thanks for the original design. This is a great compilation. The best I've seen.

I have a question though that perhaps has been answered somewhere else, not sure.

I just downloaded the 1.18 version of the Core today and I also grabbed the updated Addon pack. However, after 1.17 came out I have since used the fixes regarding using Bongos2 AND Bongos1 cohesively but on different characters (I like to use Bongos2 on my 70s and Bongos1 on my leveling alts due to the auto placement of abilities). Now, my question is, by installing the 1.18 and the new Addon pack will I again have to go in and make the changes mentioned in another thread: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...hlight=bongos2
I already understand to keep all my Bongos2 folders (and other mods I want to add to the Addon folder) but I don't know if the changes found in that post have been added to the Mazzle Core. I understand you're working on integrating Bongos3 so I'm assuming that maybe those changes are not in there and I would have to do them again? It's not a big issue if I have to, just need to know.
