Game info questions

Just some random questions I was always curious about.

1. Has there ever been in novels/books written concerning the history/lore of this World (of Warcraft) we play in. Looking to read information on it all just for fun. I never played the Warcraft series much and was wondering if anything like that exist.

2. How could I create something that would say in party/general/yell something when I die? Would that be a macro or something else that would be far too complicated for me to do?

This has links to all lore info you'll ever need including manuals from the first games, to links of the comics/novels.

As for the macro, I know some addons say when the tank dies, but, not sure about other classes.

I think Chatterbox can /party something when you die. You can't /say or /yell because the event comes after you're already dead.
