Problem with quest notifications (Double)

I'm having two of pretty much the same notifications pop up when I progress with quests. They are a little different, for example some of them say xxx 1/3 and the other one says xxx 1/3 slain. I renamed my old interface folder and installed the new mazzle. Any idea if this is what messed it up?

this is mentioned in the known issues, supposedly there is a fix by getting the newest version of nquestlog and applying the changes that mazzle made to the original to it

the only problem is im not certain, and i dont know where to get a hold of those exact changes

this is listed as a known issue, but i like messing around with things.

it looks like, in the nquest setting "notifications" and the individual notification settings "quest item, sound, quest complete, etc" are redundant in a boolean AND sort of way.

ie uncheck alll the little ones and you get one notification. uncheck notifications and play sound and you get one notification w/o sound.

since this isn't the first post on this, but i think this is the 1st answer... maybe a change in the readme file or sticky or something....

or if mazzle isn't too busy this seems like a easy fix ( to a non programmer ) for the next release.

Seerah, already checked in my fixes to the SVN. She also checked in some other fixes from the forums that clear up the notification issue. You can either download the latest version of nQuestLog from the ace site or delete the .svn folder from the nQuestLog folder and run the WAU on it.

Yep - I rolled in Mazz's fixes, but someone else fixed the notifications. I'm not that smart.

But you can update nQL. If you use WAU, then delete the .svn folder that's inside the nQL folder so that WAU won't skip it.

Or just do what I did and disable the quest notifications from Blizzard :P
