I like the idea. I'm thinking it could be combined with a Time To Die text to make for a nice alternative to plain HP display.

I think it would work well for a tank and DPS but not so much for a healer where you really need to know the exact amount of a person's health. Or maybe, use it for a healer and instead of Time To Die display deficit health?

Just some random thoughts, but I think this has potential.

That's a good idea.

I've been working on it some more and I've got the basics now more or less.





Normally when I do something 'not normal' like this I tend to ditch it instantly but I do think this has potential.

Right, not practical enough. Changed it now to get a vertical statusbar in gradient colour displaying health loss. The glow is colored by class, reaction, happiness, ... and also by rested status/combat/... for the player.

I suffer from UIADHD, apparently. New UF/UI design thingy! Comments?

EDIT: I changed the size of the party UF text to the smaller size (like TinyDPS/ThreatMeter/Castbar)

Really like this one.
it kind of looks like one of led++' latest works.
I reallly like the nameplates.its headline if ikm not mistaken.
how did you get it to look like that??

The secondary power bars (soulshards in your case) may work fine for warlocks Zagrei, but I don't think they'd work as a holy power display, they're too small for it.

Overall looks good though, reminds me of Led's stuff.

The new stuff didn't work, I guess bars and text will have to do.





This looks a bit wrong with a pixel font but I don't like it with a regular font either - suggestions?

Yeah, use a pixel font that looks like a regular font

I am a fan on the rounded fonts..They are kinda sqared off with nice round tops..

That's the size/position I use for my pally, too I also place my runes/totem timers there, just for uniformity. However, I do see the dilemma with size from time to time... what would you suggest, instead?

Parent the left side of health bar with the right side of the "power(rune,totem,combo,whatever)" bar area and parent the right side of the healthbar to a x,y area of the UIparent, and lastly left side of the "Power" bar to another x,y area so the width of the whole area will always be the same but the healthbar and power area will scale from char to char.
You just need to figure something for runes and combo points since there are so many of them.

I recommend
blood, frost, unholy

and

combo2,Combo4,combo5\As one
combo1,combo3,combo5/larger square

Well, after changing my Shard/Holy Power bar thingy, I "came up with" a new UI design following the same idea... sorta. Comments? Also, let me know if I'm bothering you with my thread-spam :P

One thing: do you think that the background of the Player/Target bars should be a dark class color, instead of the transparent black? It might make it look a little more unified, or maybe easier on the eyes. I dunno, what do you think?

EDIT: I added a pic with the class backdrops. Lemme know, please

First version of this ui is out. I plan on adding art for raid frames, boss unit frame etc. this is basically a base ui. so i dont have threat meters or cooldown mods or anything showing because i want people to be able to add what they want where they want. I am not 100 percent happy with Tot and focus placement so i may change those. Maybe putting the tot underneath the Target frame to mimic the pet/player area and put the focus somewhere else. Tell me what you guys think.

Some small changes, added the 3rd or auxilary bar where you could see it, scaled down sct, etc. Biggest change was going to AZB cast bar, from Theks( I MISS THEKS!!!)As always C&c most welcome/needed.

Seems ok to me except for the "gloss" effect on the minimap and portraits. It really looks bad.

Yea I hear ya. I was using the original file from the shadow UI. I will do one of my own. I might actually use black instead of white so it follows the shadow theme more. Thanks for the comment

Roth UI is nearly done.



Everything except raidframes is now in. Polished alot of textures lately.
