Keylogger warning

Just as a heads-up, there is a person trying to upload a new keylogger. He is calling it MetaMap v2, but it is an .exe and it has a trojan in it. Our scans picked it up immediately and it was denied on our site before it ever had a chance to go live, none of our users are in any danger from it. We just wanted to make the community aware of it, in case you come across it elsewhere.

clamscan calls it Trojan.Perflog.arc-7
avg8 calls it Trojan Horse PSW.Banker3.XBI

This particular Trojan dropper is used to capture passwords.

Thats why its important for everyone to look for the exe files. I do it for any addon from other sites and even this one, You'll never know.... Good heads up =)

I normally don't bother with addons from anywhere else but here, Ace, and Carbonite. Too leery to go anywhere else. /hugs her computer

/me remembers back to when viruses were a rarity... then again we had billions of hardware issues instead...
