default chat tab

I'm having an issue now with 1.11 and the chat tabs. Whenever I log in, it selects the last tab out of the five I have and I want it to, obviously, have the first tab selected when i log in. Is there an option somewhere I can set this or perhaps a key in some .cfg or .lua file somewhere I can adjust this in? This issue occurs on both my desktop and my wife's laptop.
