x-perl not displaying focus frame

I set the mod to display focus frame, but when i select a target and right click to set focus, the focus frame will not display. Sometimes I get a LUA error (sorry don't have text cause can't reproduce it). Most times I don't get an error.

I'm also running DBM and bartender and healbot. But issue still happens when those are disabled.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: Turned off all addons except x-perl and got this error when trying to "set focus"
*** Taint Forced *** has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable this addon and reload the UI.

Any ideas folks?

It's an error you will run into whenever you're using any other unitframes than the default Blizzard ones. So it's not a X-Perl problem per se.

Instead you can set focus by using '/focus' or by binding it to a key.
