WoW has crashed

umm..i tried to install BankOn and now it's everywhere in every folder invooling WoW in it. and now i can't even play anymore because when i try it says"fatal condition. Program: C:\Program FIles\Windows NT\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Failed to open archive model.MPQ: The system cannot find the file specified."

what should i do? please help

did you try deleting the addon folder completely?

I have the same problem! It occured after I found that the 'Recipe Radar' mod didn't work on my comp. I got rid of it, deleted my AddOns folder remade it and the problem persists! I need help on this...

Okay then. I must re-install WoW. DAMMIT!!! I wonder what went wrong though? I'll try getting my AddOns back after re-install and see which one caused the problem.

i deleted the folder but it still won't work so where do you type repair.exe?

My guess is that you should run the exe file called repair. It can also be found in the start menu in the WoW folder.

You guys should be careful when deleting addons and make sure you are deleting only the addons folder. It appears just from the message you are describing that you actually quite possibly went into the WoW\Data\ folder and deleted model.mpq. Definitely run repair.exe that will sync up your copy with blizzards live copy of what the files should look like on their side. If repair.exe does not work try reinstalling wow.
