Why can't i change the display options?

Ok this is probably a really stupid question but for some reason when i search the addons it only gives me a specific list from say a week ago to current. i can't change it. I try using that menu on the bottom and selecting a different length but it reverts back to previous and disregards the change . How do i fix this? I figured it was something in my CP but I can't find anything in it that I could change. If anyone could help me with this i'd appreciate it
