Minimap and Elvui

Been trying for a week to figure this one out and it's probably right in front of my face but I'm just not seeing it.

When I have Carbonite AND Elvui running the square minimap has a circle inside it. I tried every option and check box I can think of on both addons but I can't figure it out. I've even gone through and disabled each individual addon to see if maybe a 3rd addon was conflicting and causing a problem. No luck.

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated as that circle is driving me OCD nuts.

It used to be that you had to shut off ElvUI's control of the Blizzard minimap, but, since you explored every option in both addons I don't know what the solution might be.

By-the-way, have you tried going to Carbonites options > Maps > Minimap Options tab and making sure the "Minimap Shape is Square" box is checked (it's the second one on the page)? (That is for version 5.4.2 Alpha 5.)

Searched for, found, downloaded and installed 5.4.2 Alpha 5 and wa-laa! Problem solved. Thanks for the idea!
