I'll smush a spider if it's in the house, but I don't really consider myself afraid of them. Having said that, the Blood Feeders quest in Stonetalon where you go into a narrow spider-infested canyon really creeped me out (kinda like pit full of snakes creeped out...loss of appetite creeped out

).

i know it wont really help you and your fear of spiders, but if there were no spiders we would all walk in a 20cm carpet of insects, thats what our 8 legged freinds are there for.

maybe you could try a therapy, my wife was very afraid of spiders and now we keep 30 something tarantulas in our bedroom

Yeah, but they still live outside, in the soffits and crawlspaces, attics or behind cabinets and it just strikes me as dubious that any of those are all more than 50m away. Jus' sayin'...

and what do you do if a hunter in your party/raid or even a random hunter you see while questing has a spider for a pet?

Pointing out to someone that they're "lame" for having a legitimate fear is pretty rude. Everyone plays the game how they see fit, and if someone can enjoy it more by having that fear diminished than they deserve it as much as the next person.
