Sure. Just disable it. (iirc, it's middle-click when in config mode)

Perhaps your keybinds are not default?

As Seerah stated, once in config mode middle mouse button turns the bar to invisible. I use Domino's myself and am hiding the bags and the menu.

One word of caution when hiding the pet frame - some quests have you control a pet temporarily - hiding the pet frame will make it impossible to complete the quest in many cases.

If the pet frame is empty for a non-pet class it should not be displayed anyway, unless you need it for a quest.

Hope this helps - reset your keybinds to default, disable all other mods, and make sure your mouse software registers the middle button as - the middle button. Often people map it to something else.

I had a mouse once where the scroll wheel moved to easy and I couldn't middle click, shift+right click will hide/show also.

This is form the Dominos Wiki under advanced;
To hide or show a bar in Dominos, enter configuration mode and then either middle click or shift right click the bar you wish to hide/show. Now, the actual frame for moving the bar around will not go away when you hide the bar (else, how would you show the bar again?), but you should notice that the stuff inside does disappear. Beyond color coding, that's the way to know that the bar is hidden.

I am sorry - I just tested this, again, and Middle Mouse OR Shift+Right Click whilst in configuration mode hides the bar, even on my hunter so it is not class specific.

I can find no way to hide the bar using "conditions" like the other bars - it is either on, or off depending on the existence of a pet and the visibility hidden/not hidden setting. I assume you have a class with a pet? So, no pet, no bar, have pet, have bar, or disable the bar entirely but I do not believe this is what you want as you would not be able to control your pet if the bar is gone entirely.

I just position my pet bar on my hunter / warlock above the chat frame - its out of the way.

Well, maybe not the perfect solution, but.......

Just set your pet bar to "0" transparency, and you'll only see it when you mouse over it.

Suppose, for example, you wish to make an action bar show only when in combat. This is possible in Dominos. First, enter configuration mode, and right click the bar you wish to edit. Next, choose the show states option from the dropdown. You'll see an edit box and an okay button. In the text box, enter in combat in brackets, then press the okay button. If you're not in combat, then the bar should immediately hide. To remove the setting, simply clear the edit box, and press okay. The bar should then immediately reappear.
All macro options are valid conditions for show states.

That option is not available, at least for me, on the pet bar.

Yup, MrRuben, the pet bar doesn't support the state driver, unlike ActionBar1-10

It should not be to hard to create a combat state script to set the scale of the petbar between 1 (normal) and 0.00001(hacky way of hiding it)

*edit* Just did it

Code:
local frame, events = CreateFrame("Frame"), {};

function events:PLAYER_REGEN_DISABLED(...)
	PetBarFrame:SetScale(1)
end

function events:PLAYER_REGEN_ENABLED(...)
	PetBarFrame:SetScale(0.0001)
end

frame:SetScript("OnEvent", function(self, event, ...)
 events[event](self, ...); -- call one of the functions above
end);

for k, v in pairs(events) do
 frame:RegisterEvent(k); -- Register all events for which handlers have been defined
end
Not entirely sure if it's called PetBarFrame. Someone with dominos find out what the frame is called and replace it with that.

If SetScale doesnt work try Show() or Hide() or something of the sorts.
