help plz w/ installing 4.0.1 debugger crash

When ever I try to install 4.0.1 patch, i get past the first installation, then i get to the second part of the installation, then i get to like 3% and it crashes with a "debugger error" thing, it says
"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in wow-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Update.exe [704]."

I'm not sure if it'd help, but what I did to get around my error (not the same as yours) was to turn off my anti-virus (Kaspersky) and run as administrator, probably only for Vista or Win 7.
