OT: So whats up with all the plague rumors I hear...

I keep hearing about the rumors of uncontrollable plague infecting npcs and players brought back from one of the high level dungeon encounters. I haven't seen anything on the WoW forums which leads me to believe its not as bad as I'm hearing. Is it as bad as everyone says or is it just a minor inconvenience that isn't bugging too many people?

Probably something they are cooking up for Halloween.

Is it a huge problem like I keep hearing, where whole cities are infected and anyone below level 50 are dying or is it relatively isolated to Arathi?

I thought the title said, "plaque" instead of "plague" and I was wondering why NPCs don't have a better dental plan.
