Scripts are blocked

Hello...I am new here... and i don't know much of script's at wow...so forgive me for asking this but i typed a script at macro and it popup a window that tell's me:

A macro script has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI.

Perhaps it's a script that you are not allowed to run? We can't help you without knowing what you were trying.

I tried to do this:

I'm not 100% positive on this one, but I think it's because Blizzard blocked "smart" macro's in the 2.0 patch. Meaning, anything that uses logic to change what action it does is prevented during combat.

You hit the nail on the head. Macros like this no longer work since 2.0.

Yep. A macro/addon can *not* choose a spell for you.

That was my favorite thing about 2.0

My least was it killing discord..

No, 2.0 blocked it from doing everything.

i really liked discord when i first started wow, but my framerates were so damn bad that i eventually dropped it...

You could do a castsequence macro, assign the different abilities to different mousebuttons/modifiers... Read these two stickies:
